thinking about adding Amlexanox to my current setup

i've been tracking everything for a while now and my weight loss has basically hit a wall. my steps are still okay and my HRV is stable, but the scale just isnt budging like it used to. since i'm already on a GLP-1, i've been looking into things that actually target energy expenditure instead of just killing my appetite.
i came across amlexanox /peptides/peptide-amlexanox and the idea of inhibiting those TBK1 and IKK epsilon kinases to fix insulin resistance sounds interesting. imo it makes more sense to try and restore thermogenesis than to just keep bumping up my sema dose and feeling nauseous all the time.
has anyone here actually tried this? i'm curious if it actually helps with the stubborn fat or if the GI upset is a dealbreaker. i've read the range is usually 25 to 100 mg three times a day but that seems like a lot of pills. if anyone has their own data on how it affected their energy levels or bloodwork trends i'd love to see it. i'm trying to be meticulous about the titration so i dont just crash my system.

- rationaljenna: I tried amlexanox a few months ago when my GLP‑1 plateaued, so I can share what I saw in my own numbers. I started at 25 mg once daily with food and added a second dose after lunch after two weeks; I never got to three doses because the stomach started to feel queasy each time. 5 kg for six weeks. HRV was unchanged and I felt a bit more “warm” after workouts, but the GI upset made me stop. If you decide to try, I’d keep it to two doses and watch your triglycerides and liver enzymes – they rose
