Lipo-C + B12 stack on race weeks, timing around long runs

Been running Lipo-C once a week alongside a separate methylcobalamin B12 shot for the last few months, mostly to see if it helps with the mid-season fatigue I usually hit around 80km weeks. General dosing for me is 1mL of each, IM, on Sunday mornings when I'm not training.
The thing I'm trying to figure out is timing around hard efforts. If I do the Lipo-C injection the same morning as a long run, I feel kinda jittery by mile 20, which I assume is just the B12 component hitting. Some kind of stimulation response that I'm not loving when I'm trying to keep heart rate down on ultras. Curious if anyone else splits them across different days or injects the night before a big session instead.
Also ngl I was skeptical about the fat metabolism claims but my bloodwork came back noticeably better on liver enzymes after 6 weeks, so I'm keeping it in for now. Just want to dial in the timing so it stops interfering with my harder days. Anyone running something similar with endurance focus?

- derek_recovery: Yeah the jittery thing is class common, I had same on training days and it used to wreck my heart rate control on longer runs. What worked for me was pushing the Lipo-C to the evening before, or just doing it after the long run when I'm already knackered. Didnt seem to change the effect, just stopped it landing mid-effort. Sunday morning sounds grand on rest weeks but the second you stack a hard session on it, it's a different story. Bloodwork looking better after 6 weeks is fair enough, but li
- weekendsanjay: Yeah evening before or post run is the move, that's basically what I ended up doing too. Anecdotally it doesn't seem to lose much for me either, but the timing matters more than I expected. Sunday AM is fine until it isn't, exactly like you said.
- grinder265: Yeah evening before is where i'm leaning tbh, the jitter thing only shows up when i stack it same day with a hard effort. Did you notice any difference in how it hits subcut vs IM? I've been doing IM out of habit but curious if a slower absorption window would flatten that stimulation curve on long run days.
- grinder265: Moving it to the night before makes a lot of sense, i was so fixated on the sunday morning ritual i didnt even think about shifting it back. Gonna try that on my next 80k week and see if the mile 20 jitters chill out. Re liver enzymes, yeah fair point, i was being lazy lumping it all on the Lipo-C. My ALT and AST both dropped into the normal range but my GGT was still on the higher end so could be a few things going on. Gonna get a repeat panel in about 4 weeks and also check a CMP at the same
