CJC + ipa timing, anyone else getting more out of moving it earlier?

Right so ive been running cjc 1295 no dac with ipamorelin for a while now, mostly at night before bed like everyone says to do. And yeah, sleep feels deeper, i wake up less, all that. Solid.

But the last few weeks i shifted my second dose to about 4pm on training days, fasted, no carbs around it. Only doing 100/100 each time, nothing crazy. And honestly the recovery seems noticeably better than the bedtime dose alone. Doms the next morning is way less, skin looks a bit better too, could be coincidence but its been consistent for a few weeks now.

Theory in my head is that the pm dose is catching the natural gh pulse that happens around 4-5pm, so youre amplifying something thats already firing rather than just stacking on top of the overnight one. No idea if thats actually how it works though.

Curious if anyone else has tried splitting it this way and what you noticed. And if youve bloodworked both timings, what did ifg1 actually look like... Fwiw mine came back higher when i spread them out vs bedtime only, but i havent retested to confirm.

  • vik_r: Interesting, I've been running basically the same setup, CJC no DAC plus ipa, and stuck to a single bedtime dose for months because that's what kept coming up in every thread I read. Splitting it didn't even occur to me honestly. Your timing theory around the natural afternoon pulse actually makes some sense to me, the idea that you'd catch a window where your body is already primed rather than layering onto an overnight surge. (I'm not sure anyone has actually proven that mechanism either, jus
  • mom_sean: Yeah the appetite thing is real, ipa can kick hunger up a notch and 4pm dose lands right when im already thinking about dinner so its a bit rough some days. Havent found it unmanageable though, just means i end up eating earlier than i planned. Fwiw the split wasnt some grand plan, i just forgot my dose one night and grabbed it in the arvo instead and felt good the next day so i kept going. Might be worth you trying it on a training day and seeing if you notice the recovery difference too.
