Kisspeptin-10 flushing and headache, how common is this really?

I started kisspeptin-10 about two weeks ago, running it subq at around 200 mcg once daily. The first few days i got pretty noticeable flushing and a mild headache maybe 20 minutes after pinning. It passed quick, maybe 30 minutes, but it got me wondering how common this actually is. The profile page lists flushing and headache as side effects but i want to hear from people who actually ran it, no?

Anecdotally the flushing got less intense after day 4 or 5, almost nothing now. Could just be my body adjusting, or maybe the histamine response calming down, i am not sure. The headache also faded. But i am curious if anyone here had the opposite, where it got worse over time instead of better.

Also the tachyphylaxis thing worries me a bit. If the receptor downregulates with continuous use, does that mean the side effects go down because the receptor is less responsive, or is that a separate mechanism? I read the half-life is short, around 4 hours subq, so maybe once daily is not enough to cause constant receptor activation. But i genuinely do not know.

Anyone here who ran it for more than a few weeks and noticed changes in how they reacted to it? Did you get bloodwork before and after, right? I am planning to check LH and total testosterone after maybe 6 weeks to see if anything actually moved. Would appreciate any input from people who have been down this road already.

  • ethan_k: Tbh I haven't run kisspeptin-10 myself, so I can't speak from direct experience there. But the flushing and headache thing sounds pretty textbook for any peptide that hits the histamine pathway (or causes a sudden hormone pulse that does similar things, no?). The pattern you describe, where it fades after a few days, is what I would expect if it really is a histamine or vascular reaction. Your body tends to adjust, more or less. On the tachyphylaxis question, from what I've read the receptor d
  • brett24: Yeah, I had the same flush and light headache after my first few pins at 200 mcg. It eased off after day five, almost gone now. Reckon it’s just the body getting used to it. Anyone else notice it lasting longer than a week?
