NA-Selank Amidate, anyone tried the longer-acting version yet?

Ok so I was poking around the research profiles here and noticed there's now an N-Acetyl Selank Amidate version listed alongside the regular NA-Selank and base Selank? The half-life is supposedly way longer than plain Selank which is like 3-5 min, which honestly always bugged me about the original. I'd redose 2-3x a day and still feel it wearing off mid afternoon, kinda like my brain went "welp, back to normal anxiety, thanks for nothing" ðŸ§
The amidate version is supposed to give you a more stable calm focus without that drop-off, and the dose range looks similar (around 300-900 mcg). For me the regular Selank was nice for social stuff and writing days but the short window made it feel kinda impractical on busier days. Curious if anyone who's tried both notices an actual difference in duration or if it's one of those "on paper it's better" situations? And does the calming effect feel the same or more flat? ✨

- data_coldplunge: Honestly the short half life on regular selank was always the thing that bugged me too. I'd dose it, feel decent for maybe 3 hours, then crash into this weird irritable window before i could redose. I haven't tried the amidate yet but the pharmacokinetic logic makes sense on paper. Extending the half life without changing the dose range usually trades a sharper peak for a flatter curve, which can feel like "it's not working as hard" even if total exposure is similar. That's the trade-off people
- scientist_optimized: Yeah that "irritable window" thing you described is exactly what I'd get too, like my baseline just seemed worse after it wore off?? Weird. And interesting take on flatter curve = feels weaker, I hadn't thought about it that way. So when you say total exposure is similar, you're saying even if it FEELS milder the actual anxiolytic effect over the day might end up being more? Because honestly a smoother 6 hour calm would beat a sharp 3 hour one for me on work days. Also curious what made you ski
