HGH Fragment 176-191 + AOD-9604 stack, anyone tried combining these two?

Been running HGH Fragment 176-191 at around 400 mcg first thing in the morning, fasted, for about 6 weeks now. Anecdotally I feel like I am seeing some body composition changes but honestly it could just be that I cleaned up my diet around the same time, na?
Recently I came across AOD-9604 and noticed it is basically the same fragment, just modified. The /peptides/aod-9604 profile says 300 mcg daily, morning, fasted. Similar mechanism too, lipolysis without touching IGF-1 or blood glucose.
So my question is, does it make any sense to stack these two together? They are both targeting the 176-191 region of HGH, just one is modified. Feels like you would just be hitting the same pathway twice and not getting any additive benefit.
Or am I thinking about this wrong? Maybe the modifications mean they hit slightly different downstream effects? I have not found any direct comparison study between the two, only individual profiles.
If anyone has run both separately and noticed a real difference, kindly share. Or if someone has actually combined them, would love to hear what that looked like and whether it was worth it π
Right now I am thinking it is probably better to pick one and stick with it rather than doubling up on the same fragment family.

- rational_experiment: Your thinking is actually pretty sound here. From what i've read, both fragments target that same 176-191 lipolytic region, so adding them on top of each other mostly just costs more, not really extra effect. The modification in AOD is mostly there to slow breakdown and maybe nudge receptor binding a bit, but the downstream pathway is essentially the same one. I haven't come across a head to head study either, just individual profiles like you said. Honestly, if i were you i'd finish out a fai
- travis231: So basically you are saying I could just pick one, save some cash, and still get the same outcome? That is actually the most boring answer but probably the right one. Question though: has anyone actually compared these two in the same person back to back? I feel like every thread just quotes the same vendor descriptions back and forth π
- tara_n: Lol yeah that's basically what I'm saying π Same person back to back would be useful but I haven't found that either, just separate papers on each. Maybe it's worth running frag alone for another 4-6 weeks, log properly, then swap to AOD for the same time and compare? Anecdotally at least.
- tara_n: Yeah that aligns with what I was thinking too. The mechanism overlap is just too much to justify running them at the same time, and without a head to head study there is no way to know if one is even better than the other for me specifically. I have been taking waist and hip measurements weekly plus progress pics every 2 weeks, so the log is decent. Going to finish out the fragment run and then swap to AOD solo and compare, see if I notice anything different. How long would you run AOD before
