Reconstituting BPC-157 for the first time, do I have this maths right?

Right so I've been reading through threads here for a bit and finally ordered my first vial, BPC-157 5mg. I've never reconstituted anything before and I want to make sure I'm not messing it up before I start.
The plan is 2ml bacteriostatic water into the vial. Then if I want 500mcg per pin, I'm working out that 500mcg is 0.5mg, and the vial holds 5mg total... So each 0.2ml on the insulin syringe should give me 500mcg?
That feels too simple and now I'm second guessing myself. Does the maths actually work like that, or am I missing a step somewhere?
Also does it matter if I draw up slowly vs fast, and do I let the BAC water stream down the side of the vial or inject it straight in? I've seen people say both and honestly idk which is right for a peptide.
Cheers, just want to get this nailed before I waste a whole vial.

- practicalpaul: The math works out. 5mg in 2ml gives you 2.5mg per ml, so 0.2ml on the syringe is 0.5mg, or 500mcg. The simple version is the right version, you are not missing anything. Imo a lot of people overthink this part. On the technique, I let the BAC water run gently down the inside wall of the vial rather than shooting it straight onto the powder. Slower draw on the syringe too, no reason to rush it. The peptide can be a bit foamy if you agitate it, just let it dissolve on its own, do not shake. Onl
- tired_lifter20: Cheers for that, genuinely relieved the maths checks out because I went round in circles about it for ages. I'll go with the down the side method then, not shaking. The foamy thing makes sense, I probably would've panicked and thought I'd wrecked it lol. And yeah good shout on writing it down, I would've forgotten by tomorrow. Does it actually matter much how soon you use it after reconstituting, or is it fine sitting in the fridge for a couple of weeks?
