CJC/Ipa cycle length, 5 days on 2 off actually backed by anything or just a bro thing?

Right so I've been running cjc 1295 no dac plus ipa pretty much daily for about 5 months now, 100/100 three times a day, fasted when I can be arsed (which is mostly mornings). Recent IGF-1 came back at 245 from a baseline of 170, so something is moving, not complaining there.

But the pulsing question is what's been on my mind lately. I've seen a few people swearing by 5 on 2 off to avoid receptor desensitisation, and others running 2 weeks on 1 week off, and the rest of us just doing it every day like robots.

Genuinely asking, is there any actual evidence that 5/2 does anything meaningful versus just blasting it daily? Or is this one of those things that became "common knowledge" because it sounded plausible and got repeated enough? From what I understand the GHRPs work through a different receptor to GHRH so I'm a bit sceptical that the pituitary needs a "rest" the way the bits getting hit would.

Also ngl my sleep on it is class when I dose before bed, but the hunger from the GHRP side keeps me waking up wanting toast at 4am sometimes. Anyone found a way round that or is it just part of the deal?
