BPC-157 timing around physio sessions for a grumbling supraspinatus, what actually worked for you

Hey, so I have been dealing with a sore supraspinatus for a few months now. Not a full tear, just one of those grumbling tendon things that flares up when I push pressing movements too hard. I started physio two weeks ago and added BPC-157 into the mix because I figured why not line everything up.

My question is really about timing. Right now I am doing 500mcg BPC-157 once a day, subq, usually in the morning. Physio is twice a week, usually afternoon sessions. I have tried pinning about an hour before physio once and it kind of felt like the session went better, less sharp pain during the mobilisation work. But that could easily be placebo or just a good day.

Should I be pinning closer to the session, like 30 mins before, or is daily timing irrelevant and I am overthinking it? Also wondering if splitting the dose to twice a day would change anything for a tendon like this. If anyone has run BPC-157 specifically alongside physio for a rotator cuff issue, what timing actually seemed to work for you?

  • weekendnate: Honestly the timing question is interesting because nobody really knows the pharmacokinetics well enough to give a confident answer. What I can say from my own experience with a grumbling achilles a while back, I did 250mcg twice a day split morning and evening just because once daily felt arbitrary, and I can't honestly tell you if splitting did anything compared to a single dose. The bigger lever for me was just consistency with the rehab work itself. Eccentric loading progressed slowly over

But honestly after a few weeks I couldn’t tell if it was the BPC or just getting used to the exercises. Consistency with the rehab routine seemed to move the needle more than any timing tweak.
  • runner_aaron: Tbh that's pretty much where I landed too. The one time I pinned an hour before it felt better but trying to repeat it I couldn't really tell if it was the BPC or just the session itself. Consistency with the physio exercises is probably doing 90% of the work here anyway. Did you end up splitting the dose at all or stick with once a day?
  • runner_aaron: Tbh the boring advice is probably the part I needed to hear most. I have been sneaking in extra pressing volume when I know I shouldn't, so stopping that is the obvious first move. Quick one though, when you did 250mcg twice a day, was that split 12 hours apart or did you front load one side? Wondering if pinning one dose close to physio and the other whenever is the move or if that just messes with steady levels.
