Anyone tried letrozole for estrogen control alongside other compounds?

So I've been digging into letrozole as part of a stack and wanted to see what y'all think. I'm post-meno and have been using it at very low doses a couple times a week, mainly to keep estrogen from creeping up while I'm on other things. For me the joint stiffness is real, like I felt like a 90 year old getting out of bed the first few weeks. It has settled down some but I still get achy knees if I skip my walks.

I'm curious if anyone else is running it alongside GH peptides or other research compounds and how you're timing things. The half life is around 2 days so twice a week dosing seems to make the math work out. I've also noticed my sleep is way better when estradiol isn't spiking, but that might just be me.

Side effects I've personally dealt with are the hot flashes (annoying but manageable) and some fatigue the day after I dose. Bone density is the long term concern I keep reading about so I make sure to lift heavy and get enough calcium. Anyone else have input on running it cycled vs steady?

  • luis295: Couple thoughts from my own notes, fwiw. I've run it alongside my CJC/Ipa nights and the timing thing seems to matter more than I expected, I dose it in the morning because the fatigue the next day hits harder if I take it late. Twice a week worked better than every other day for me too, joints felt less trash. The achy knees thing is real for me as well, it got better around week 3 but never fully went away. Heavy squats seem to help honestly, probably the loading stimulus more than anything e
  • kim541: Morning dosing makes sense, I hadn't thought about that but it tracks with the fatigue thing for sure, I'll move my dose earlier this week and see. The squat comment is funny because I quit heavy lower body work a while back and just do walks, so maybe I need to add something back in. Twice a week vs EOD, yeah the joint thing was noticeably worse when I tried every other day. What's your E2 sitting at on bloods if you don't mind me asking? Trying to get a feel for where folks are landing.
  • fasted_scientist: Morning dosing makes sense, ngl. Less of the groggy next-day thing if your body clears the worst of it while you're awake. Bit puzzled by the heavy squats bit though, you reckon the loading actually helps the joint achiness or is it just masking it for a bit? I find mine flares back up worse the day after anything heavy.
  • kim541: Morning dosing does seem to help with the next day fatigue, I'll give you that. The squats were honestly a guess on my part, more about trying to keep some load on the joints than anything proven. Could just be I'm stubborn and don't want to lose what I've built. Yours flaring worse the day after heavy work is interesting though, mine seems more random than tied to a specific day. Does timing around your dose make a difference for you or is it pretty much whenever?
