CJC/Ipa before bed vs right after a workout, does timing actually move the needle?

Bit of a devils advocate question here. Most protocols I've seen stack CJC/Ipa about an hour before bed to ride the natural overnight GH pulse. Sounds clean on paper, but ngl I keep wondering if a post-training dose is the smarter call.

The reasoning (when I try to steelman the workout side) is that training itself spikes GH pretty hard in the first hour or so after, so adding a secretagogue on top of an already elevated pulse should in theory give you a bigger peak. Plus you're dosing while fasted after a session, which most people say matters for the ghrelin axis.

Counter argument is the recovery window gets you sleep architecture, slow wave sleep, IGF-1 overnight. CJC/Ipa is meant to mimic the natural pattern, and your natural pattern peaks at night, not after a heavy squat session (well, both, but the night one is the bigger one).

For those of you who have actually run both ways, did one feel noticeably better? Recovery, sleep quality, body comp, whatever. I'm trying not to overthink it but I am overthinking it.
