LL-37 alongside BPC-157 for a slow-healing surgical wound, anyone tried?

Hey everyone. I had a fairly minor op about 7 weeks ago and the incision site is still pulling and a bit red around the edges. Not infected as far as I can tell, just slow to close up properly.

I've been on BPC-157 injectable for most of that time, 250 mcg twice a day, and tbh the deeper tissue feels like it's healing fine, but the surface wound just seems stuck. I came across LL-37 and the wound healing plus biofilm angle got my attention, but I've never actually used it.

For those who've run LL-37 alongside BPC, how did you time it? Did you use it topically near the wound or systemically? And did you keep the BPC running or pause it? I'm trying to figure out if stacking makes sense or if I'm overthinking it and just need to be more patient.

Also curious if anyone noticed any local irritation, since that's listed as a common side effect. My incision area is already grumpy so I'd rather not make it worse.

  • patient_codes: Hey I’ve actually tried stacking LL-37 with BPC-157 on a slow‑healing forearm scar I had after a minor procedure. I kept the BPC-157 subcutaneous at 250 mcg twice a day and added LL-37 as a diluted spray right on the edges of the wound twice daily. I didn’t notice extra irritation – just a mild tingling that faded after a few minutes. Over about two weeks the redness eased and the edges started to knit together faster than with BPC alone. That’s just my own experience, could be placebo, but it
  • weekendnate: Nice data point. The diluted topical spray is a smart way to localize it without adding much systemically. For me the biofilm angle is what makes LL-37 tempting on something like yours, since stalled surface healing often has a microbial component you can't really see. Did you dilute it in saline or just bacteriostatic water? And did you keep it refrigerated between applications or mix fresh each time?
  • runner_aaron: Howzit, interesting. The diluted spray route is something I hadn't actually considered, I was thinking more systemic would be the only real option. Quick question though, how did you actually dilute it and at what ratio? Also did you keep using the BPC injectable the whole time or rotate around the spray doses?
  • runner_aaron: Tbh I haven't actually started LL-37 yet, that's kind of why I posted, still figuring out how to approach it. I've got bacteriostatic water on hand from the BPC so that's what I'd reach for first. For a small surgical site I was thinking maybe 2mg/ml split into a few small vials and kept cold between uses. The biofilm point is actually a good nudge, my wound's edges have had this faint shine to them for weeks that I just wrote off as slow granulation. Worth me asking my GP about a swab before I
