KLOW + Larazotide for a 50k block, gut holding up or am I overcomplicating it

Ngl i keep going back and forth on whether to add Larazotide into my 50k training block. Right now im running a KLOW stack, GHK-Cu and TB-500 twice a week, BPC-157 and KPV daily. Recovery has been solid and the achilles that was bugging me finally calmed down around week 5.

Heres my thinking. KPV already hits NF-kB and calms gut inflammation, so does Larazotide even add anything meaningful or am i just throwing peptides at the wall. I run a lot of carbs during long efforts and my gut is usually the weak link, especially on hotter days when i start bonking.

Im curious if anyone has paired Larazotide alongside KLOW specifically for the gut lining angle during heavy training. What timing worked, morning fasted or pre run, and did you notice anything different from KPV alone. Reconstitution math is straightforward either way im just trying to figure out if the stack is worth the extra pins or if KPV is already doing the job.

  • tiredmira: Yeah KPV alone has been enough for me on similar blocks, but the long run gut stuff sounds different from what I was dealing with. I never tried larazotide so I can't compare, just my own experience. The carb thing on hot days is basically a perfusion issue for me. Gut blood flow drops, everything stalls, and then you're dealing with bloating and cramps for the last 10k. Have you looked at your sodium and carb concentration during those efforts, not just total amount. Sometimes a more diluted s
  • grinder265: Honestly the perfusion angle makes more sense than adding another pin. My long run mix is usually like 60g carbs per hour in 20oz, prob too concentrated now that you mention it. Gonna play with diluting it on the next hot long run before I touch Larazotide. KPV alone might honestly be enough if the real issue is osmotic load.
  • patient_codes: Yeah the perfusion angle is real, I used to fight the same bloating in summer races and cutting the concentration way down helped more than I expected. Sodium mattered too, I was under salting for sure. For KPV alone on long stuff though, did you find you needed to dose it closer to the effort or was daily enough? That part always tripped me up when I tried using it around harder blocks.
  • grinder265: Daily was enough for me honestly. I never really cycled it closer to runs, just pinned every morning before breakfast and called it good. That said I never tested it the other way around hard efforts specifically, so take that with a grain of salt. The sodium thing is interesting though, I think I assumed I was getting enough from my electrolytes but maybe not. What concentration were you running when you said cutting it down helped, just lower dose or more diluted overall?
