Adamax daily for 3 weeks, way smoother than I expected

I've been curious about Adamax for a while since Semax tends to make me a little wired and honestly a bit irritable by day 4. Picked some up about a month ago and have been running it most days, intranasal, somewhere in the low microgram range once in the morning.
The first thing I noticed was that the focus feels less "sharp laser beam" and more like a steady hum, which I kinda prefer for coaching days when I need to actually talk to people. Memory for names and small stuff (like what I told someone on Tuesday) seems better, hard to say if that's real or just placebo. Zero headaches this time, which was my main gripe with Semax.
Sleep is fine, mood is neutral to good, no nasal irritation worth mentioning. I'm not stacking anything with it right now, just keeping it simple.
Has anyone else run it longer than a month? Curious what the consensus is on cycling vs. Running it steady. Also wondering if it's worth layering in something for the BDNF angle that Adamax is supposedly hitting harder than Semax does.

- weekendnate: That "steady hum" description is exactly how I'd characterize it too. Semax gave me that wired, almost too on feeling by midweek, while Adamax just felt like background processing got quieter without the jitters. Three weeks is still early in my opinion. I ran it close to 8 weeks steady and noticed the focus effect kinda soften around week 6, though that could just be me acclimating. Cycling 5 on 2 off seemed to keep the subjective benefits more consistent for me after that, but that is purely
- patient_codes: Yeah week 6 softening sounds about right, that kind of matches what I was worried about going in. The 5 on 2 off split is interesting, did you just do weekends off or actually skip doses midweek? I'm trying to figure out what feels less like a hassle logistically. Also your point about the wired feeling from Semax is exactly what pushed me off it, so good to hear someone else describe it the same way 🧠
- quiet_ironman: Yeah the tolerance thing is real, I hit a wall around week 6 too and didn't wanna keep pushing the dose. 5 on 2 off sounds worth trying, I just went longer breaks but maybe that's overkill. Curious what you mean by the BDNF angle though, what were you layering in?
- patient_codes: Oh nice, week 6 wall is helpful to know about, that gives me a real timeline to watch for. I just meant pairing it with stuff that nudges BDNF on its own, like regular hard training or even just caffeine in the morning, not actual stack layers. Honestly the 5 on 2 off split sounds way more sustainable than what I was doing, I'll probably switch to that next and see if the steady hum holds instead of fading.
