BPC-157 arginate oral for a cranky posterior tibial tendon, timing around PT

Dealing with a nagging posterior tibial tendon that's been grumpy since late spring. Started running again after a few weeks off and it held up ok, then flared again after a long hill session. Doc says posterior tibial tendon dysfunction stage 1, rest, ice, calf raises, the usual.
I've got injectable BPC-157 in the fridge from earlier but my girlfriend refuses to do subq on me anymore and tbh I kinda hate it too. Picked up some of the arginate oral version since I'd rather just swallow something than pin near the tendon every day.
Anyone actually run the oral arginate form for a tendon like this? I've seen people say the oral is more of a gut/systemic thing and less targeted for connective tissue. Not sure if it's worth running solo for a tendon or if I'm wasting a few weeks of healing window.
Also curious how you timed it around PT sessions. I do my rehab work in the evenings, was thinking morning dose on training days and split dosing on rest days. Does it matter much relative to when I'm actually loading the tendon, or is this one of those things where consistent blood levels matter more than timing?

- weekendnate: The oral arginate question is the part I can't really square. Everything I've seen and what people report suggests oral is mostly a systemic/gut play, not the local tissue healing that made BPC-157 interesting for tendons in the first place. If you're trying to target the tendon specifically, swallowing it seems like you're just hoping enough makes it where you need it, which is a rough bet. For the timing around PT, I'd think consistent levels probably matter more than pre-loading. I dose mine
- grinder265: Yeah ngl that's kinda where I'm landing too. The whole reason I had the injectable was to pin close to the tendon and try to get some local effect, and oral just feels like I'm crossing my fingers that enough survives gut passage to do anything for the PT tendon specifically. Might just suck it up and do the subq myself, girlfriend already said she's done lol. How long were you running yours before you noticed anything for tendon stuff, or was yours more of a gut protocol?
- tiredmira: Yeah the local vs systemic thing is basically my hesitation too. The arginate salt supposedly has better gut survival than the standard version, but how much actually gets to a tendon in your foot is anyone's guess. For timing though I'm kinda the opposite, I noticed more benefit dosing it like 30 min before my PT session. Could be placebo tho.
- grinder265: Ngl the 30 min pre PT angle is interesting, i was doing it first thing in the morning because i figured steady blood levels mattered more than timing. Maybe i had it backwards the whole time. How long were you running the oral arginate before you noticed anything and was it daily or did you cycle it?
