Fisetin as a senolytic, is anyone doing actual hit-and-run courses?

I've been reading up on fisetin after a friend kept bringing it up, and I honestly never thought of it as much more than the strawberry antioxidant until I started looking at the senolytic angle. The idea of doing short "hit" days instead of taking it daily is interesting to me, mostly because the half-life is so short that constant dosing seems kinda pointless.

My current stack already has rapamycin once a week and I've been doing spermidine in the mornings, so adding a periodic fisetin punch feels like it could fit without a ton of overlap. I'm thinking of doing it maybe once a month or every 6 weeks, taken with fat since absorption is supposedly rough otherwise.

For anyone who's actually tried a fisetin protocol, what did your hit days look like, and did you notice anything tangible, like recovery, skin, or just a general feeling? Or is this one of those things that only shows up on paper and not in real life? Curious what other people are doing with it. 🧠

  • optimizedsean: I ran fisetin as a hit-and-run a couple times, did two consecutive days once a month for about 4 months, around 500mg each day taken with an avocado and olive oil to help absorption. Honestly I didn't notice anything dramatic, maybe a small bump in next-day recovery after hard leg sessions but it could easily be placebo, hard to say for sure. What I found more useful was just dropping the dose a bit and watching how I felt around training. If you're already on rapamycin weekly and spermidine in
  • patient_codes: The two consecutive days thing is interesting, I hadn't really thought of doing back to back instead of just one big punch day. 500mg sounds about right for what I was planning too. I'm a little jealous you got any kind of recovery bump, I've only got my baseline to go off so we'll see 🧠 Were you taking it on training days or rest days? I was gonna try it on a rest day first just so I'm not confusing soreness with whatever it might do.
  • retired_coldplunge: Two consecutive days is a solid pulse, I hadn't thought of doing it as a pair instead of one and done. Good call on the fat for absorption, that tracks with how I've been timing mine too (a spoon of peanut butter, not fancy lol). Did you ever try spacing those two days apart instead of back to back, or did the consecutive format feel like it worked better? 📰
