Adamax alone vs Adamax with low-dose methylene blue, anyone stacking these?

I've been running Adamax on its own for a few weeks now, mostly mornings, and the focus piece is real for me, like the kind where I actually finish the thing I started instead of opening nine tabs. But around hour three I hit this weird flat feeling, not tired exactly, just kinda muted, like my brain stopped wanting to push.

So I started wondering if it's a mitochondrial thing underneath. I read up on methylene blue at low doses as an electron carrier, and the idea that it keeps ATP production humming while Adamax is doing the BDNF side of things sounded plausible enough that I wanted to try it. I'm talking tiny amounts, way below anything that turns your pee blue.

Day one I took a sip of the low-dose solution about 30 min before my Adamax dose and genuinely the afternoon slump didn't show up. Could be total placebo, it was one day, but the curve felt different. I'm gonna run it for two weeks and pay attention to whether the focus stays steady instead of peaking early.

Anyone else experimenting with this pairing? Curious if methylene blue kills the Adamax effect for some people instead of helping, or if timing matters a lot. And yeah, bloodwork and a doctor are on the list before I commit to anything long term 🧠

  • elle_z: Oh this is exactly the slump i hit too with selank, different peptide same flat afternoon feeling. I actually tried low-dose methylene blue with a nootropic stack before adamax was on my radar and the sip-before thing matched what i noticed, like the dip just smoothed out instead of crashing. Could 100% be placebo from paying attention but the curve thing is real for me as well. One thing tho, are you spacing it from anything else in the morning?
  • weekendnate: The flat afternoon thing is super common in my experience too, I see it pop up across a bunch of different nootropics. The methylene blue angle is interesting, I've been curious about it for a while but never pulled the trigger. When you say you tried it before, what dose range were you using? 5mg up to a few mg thrown around and that's a pretty wide gap. Also curious what you were stacking it with at the time, since you mentioned it smoothing things out.
  • practicalval: Yeah the spacing thing matters more than people think, I keep my Adamax separate from anything else in the morning just because stacking too much in one window used to blur out what was actually doing what. The sip timing is interesting though, and honestly if you can tell the curve difference from your own logs that is useful data regardless of placebo. How long did you ride the methylene blue before you could see the pattern?
