GHRP-2 vs GHRP-6 at the same dose, is the hunger difference really that dramatic?

Ngl, I keep seeing people say GHRP-6 is the "hungry" one and GHRP-2 is the "clean" option, but I want to push back a bit because I'm not sure the difference is as big as folk make out.

I ran GHRP-6 first, 100mcg three times a day for a few weeks. Yeah, the hunger was real, especially the first dose fasted in the morning. But after a week or so my body seemed to settle into it and the ghrelin spike wasn't as intense. Then I switched to GHRP-2 at the same dose and timing, and honestly the hunger was maybe 70% of what 6 gave me, not some night and day difference like people claim.

Recovery and sleep felt pretty similar between the two if I'm being honest. Maybe GHRP-2 gave slightly less water retention, but that could easily be placebo.

Has anyone actually compared them head to head at matched doses? I'm skeptical that the gap is as wide as the consensus suggests.

  • elle_z: That's a fair pushback lah. From my own runs, GHRP-6 hunger was wild the first week but I also settled into it after that, so your "maybe 70%" feels about right to me. GHRP-2 was cleaner for sure but not the totally appetite-neutral thing some people make it out to be. Did you notice any difference in sleep quality between them? That's the one area I'm still undecided on.
  • fasted_scientist: Same here honestly, sleep felt pretty much the same on both. If anything GHRP-2 maybe gave me slightly deeper sleep the first few nights but by week two it evened out and I couldn't really tell them apart. Could just be me being more aware of it because I was watching for differences though. Where did you land on the sleep thing, any pattern or still a wash for you too?
