Oral bpc-157, mild nausea in week one, is that normal?

Started the oral arginate salt version of bpc-157 about ten days ago, mainly for some lingering stomach stuff. Im taking 250 mcg twice a day on an empty stomach like the profile suggests, and ive noticed a low grade queasy feeling for maybe an hour after each dose. Not awful, just enough to make me not want to eat breakfast right away.

For what it is worth it does seem to settle down a bit by day five or six, but it comes back if i take it later in the day with food in my stomach. Also my stools were looser the first week, more towards normal now.

I had bloods done before i started (full panel, liver, kidneys, inflammatory markers) and plan to repeat at the six week mark. Nothing else in my stack right now, just the oral bpc.

Question is, for those who pushed through the nausea, how long before it fully went away? And is the empty stomach timing actually important here or can i move it to slightly later so im not nauseous in the morning?

  • elle_z: Honestly the queasiness with oral bpc sounds familiar, mine did the same thing the first couple of weeks and then just stopped, like my gut got used to it. Empty stomach timing mattered for me, if i took it after eating it was way worse and i noticed the stomach stuff i was trying to fix kinda crept back. So i'd keep it morning on empty, maybe push breakfast back 30 min and just ride it out a bit longer before changing anything. Your bloods plan is solid btw, that's the move.
  • tireddita: That matches what im seeing then, the food thing seems to make it worse for sure. Did you do 250 twice a day as well or a different split, and did yours fully stop or just get less annoying over time. Ill stick with the morning empty dose and push breakfast back like you said, for what it is worth thats an easy change.
  • fasted_scientist: Yeah mine did the same ngl, settled by week two on the dot. The empty stomach thing is real, taking it after food made it noticeably worse for me too. Stick with morning fasted, push breakfast back a bit, and give it the full fortnight before you start tweaking anything.
