AMA piece on what doctors actually want patients to know about injectable peptides

Saw this pop up from the AMA and thought it was worth sharing for anyone starting out. It's basically a straight explainer from doctors, no hype, no influencer nonsense, just the stuff they want you to know before you stick a needle in your leg. It covers the basics like what these things are, why people are using them, and what the risks actually look like in plain English.
The bit that stood out to me was how much they hammer the "ask your doctor" angle and how unregulated a lot of this stuff still is. That's the cautious side of me talking but imo it's the most important point in the whole piece. If you're new to peptides that part alone is worth the read.
Anyone here actually brought a peptide question to their GP and got a useful answer back, or did you just get blank stares? 🌱
