Tesamorelin + Ipa nightly, is the GHRH+GHRP synergy actually doing what people claim?

Been running tesamorelin 2mg + ipa 300mcg before bed for about 6 weeks now, and I'm trying to figure out if what I'm feeling lines up with the "1+1=3" GH pulse stuff or if it's just nicer sleep talking.

Sleep is genuinely deeper, no question. I wake up feeling more recovered than I have in ages, and my training days the next morning are noticeably better. Appetite hasn't gone wild on me, which I was bracing for after reading about GHRP-6 horror stories. Ipa seems cleaner in that regard, at least for me.

The thing I'm genuinely unsure about is whether pairing the two is actually giving me a bigger pulse than just running ipa solo. The mechanism makes sense on paper, GHRH plus ghrelin receptor activation, supposedly multiplicative. But I haven't seen anyone actually compare bloodwork between the combo and ipa alone. IGF-1 went from about 180 to 260 over the 6 weeks, which feels decent but I don't know if that's combo-specific or just standard ipa territory.

Anyone here actually run both solo and stacked and notice a real difference, or got bloodwork to compare? Curious if the tesamorelin half-life being so short actually matters when you dose them together.

  • earlyderek: Honestly i havent stacked the two so i cant compare directly, but from what ive read the tesamorelin half life thing does matter and timing them together matters too, like if you inject at the same time the short tesamorelin pulse should amplify what ipa is doing on the ghrelin side. The igf jump you saw sounds pretty solid for 6 weeks, 180 to 260 is not nothing. But yeah without solo bloodwork its hard to say if the tesa is pulling weight or if ipa alone woulda gotten you most of the way there
  • fasted_scientist: Honestly the simultaneous vs split thing is what i keep going back and forth on. If tesa's pulse is genuinely short like people say, splitting it 30-60 mins before ipa should give the GHRH signal a head start on the ghrelin spike instead of them firing at the same time. I just do both at bedtime right now, but i'm tempted to try tesa first then ipa right before lights out and see if sleep feels different. Ngl i haven't pulled the trigger on actually splitting yet because the current setup isn't
  • grinder265: Ngl good callout on the solo bloodwork thing, that's the part i can't really answer. And yeah both at once right before bed, haven't tried splitting yet. Timing them together kinda just made sense to me but if the tesa pulse is as short as people say i wonder if i'm wasting half of it.
  • fasted_scientist: You nailed the thing I keep getting stuck on, the solo comparison basically doesn't exist in any thread I've found. And tbf I just defaulted to timing them together because it felt efficient, but yeah, if tesa's pulse is that short it might not even be awake by the time ipa hits the receptors. Might try splitting tesa an hour earlier and see if sleep feels the same or better.
