"Layering Tadalafil daily with ALA and TUDCA, overkill or actually sensible?"

So I've been on daily low-dose tadalafil for a while now (5mg, mostly for the vascular and prostate angle rather than just the obvious), and I'm starting to wonder about layering in ALA injectable alongside TUDCA for a bit of a "support stack."
The logic in my head is: tadalafil is doing its thing on NO signalling and vasodilation, but I'm hitting the endothelium hard with training and not always sleeping great. ALA supposedly helps with mitochondrial function and recycling antioxidants, and TUDCA is there to keep the liver happy if I'm pushing other compounds through it.
Has anyone actually run something like this long-term? I'm curious if people notice better pumps or recovery, or if it's just adding expense for marginal benefit. Also a bit worried about blood sugar dipping with ALA, since I train fasted a lot.
Would love to hear what others have tried before I commit. Not after medical advice, just real-world experience.

- grinder265: Honestly this stack makes sense to me on paper. The NO signaling + endothelial support angle is legit, and if you're training hard on top of the tadalafil then yeah the vasculature is taking a beating. ALA and TUDCA cover different bases so i wouldnt call it overkill, more like a logical pairing. The fasted training thing is real tho, alpha lipoic acid can definitely drop you if you're not careful. I noticed shaky sessions when i was shooting it on an empty stomach, had to time it around food o
- rachel_ketogen: Yeah the fasted ALA thing is no joke, ive had the same shaky/buzzy sessions when i timed it wrong. Ended up moving it to right after my first meal and that fixed it. TUDCA i just take at night so its not even competing for attention in the am. Curious if you noticed any difference in pump quality or just recovery overall on the combo?
- fasted_scientist: Yeah timing it post-meal sorted the buzzy stuff for me too, ngl didn't expect that to be the difference but it was. Pump-wise I haven't been blown away tbh, recovery feels a touch smoother on big sessions but could easily be placebo. Did you find the combo actually moved the needle on anything measurable or was it more of a feel thing for you?
- fasted_scientist: Yeah the fasted blood sugar thing is exactly why I held off, cheers for confirming it's not just me being paranoid. (Had a few mates say the same about shaky sessions on an empty stomach.) I'll probably time the ALA with my first meal around lunch and see how that goes before moving anything else around. Out of curiosity what dose were you running when it got shaky, and did lowering it actually sort it or did you just have to eat around it?
