Trying low‑dose rapamycin – anyone else doing weekly pulses?

Hey all, tbh I’m pretty new to the whole longevity stack and I’ve been reading about rapamycin as the “most studied” anti‑aging drug. The page says a typical low‑dose is 3‑6 mg once weekly, half‑life around 62 hours, and that it can boost autophagy and even improve vaccine response. I decided to give it a quiet try last month – started with 3 mg on a Saturday night after a light dinner, then skipped the next week to see how I felt.

For me the only thing I noticed was a slight sore spot on the inside of my cheek a day or two after the dose, which cleared up on its own. Sleep seemed a tad deeper, but maybe that was just the extra rest I took that weekend. I’m curious if anyone else has stuck with the weekly schedule, tried a different day of the week, or adjusted the dose up to 5 mg?

Also any tips on monitoring lipids or other labs while on it would be appreciated 🧬. Thanks!
