BPC-157 arginate oral for a cranky posterior tibial tendon, anyone running it longer than 6 weeks?

Ngl I've been fighting this posterior tibial tendon thing on and off for months. Started as a niggle after a 50k and turned into that classic "oh thats actually angry" feeling every morning for the first km. Loaded eccentric raises, switched shoes, all the boring stuff, slow progress.
Started BPC-157 arginate oral at 500mcg twice a day about 3 weeks in. The convenience is huge, no pinning between runs. First couple days I had some mild GI stuff but it cleared. Tendon pain is maybe 40% better? Hard to tell whats PT vs whats the peptide.
Question for anyone who's run the oral arginate version longer term, like 8 to 12 weeks, did you keep linear improvement or did it plateau around week 4 to 5? Also curious if anyone stacked it with a low dose TB-500 for tendon specifically or if thats overkill for something thats mostly structural. Bloodwork all clean, no other issues, just a stubborn tendon that needs more runway.

- leah_vo2max: Not gonna lie my achilles took a similar path, started as a niggle after a long race and just refused to leave. I ran oral arginate around 500mcg split into two doses for about 14 weeks total, and for me it felt front loaded, like the first 4 weeks i could tell something was changing and then it got harder to notice week to week. To be fair i was also doing heavy eccentrics that whole time so hard to parse what helped what. Tb500 i never bothered adding, my read is the arginate salt has better
- fasted_scientist: Yeah that front-loaded thing tracks with what I've seen anecdotally, the early weeks feel like real progress then it flattens out. Ngl I'm a bit sceptical of the "arginate has better oral survival" claim though, I've never actually seen a proper study comparing the two salts head to head. Do you have a paper on that or is it more of a community thing? Curious where the idea originally came from.
- grinder265: Yeah tbh its mostly a community thing, I don't have a proper head to head paper. The reasoning people throw around is just better stability in gastric fluid and higher bioavailability claims from the supplier literature, not exactly gold standard. Could be marketing for all I know. Did you see the early weeks flatten out with oral or injectable?
- retired_coldplunge: Yeah the front loaded thing is what I'm seeing too honestly, first few weeks I was like okay we're moving, now at 3 weeks I'm not sure if I'm still improving or just maintaining. The eccentrics are doing a ton of work I'm sure, fwiw I think I'd be doing this same dance without them. Patience is the whole game with tendons I guess 😎
