TB-500 + GHK-Cu for a slow rotator cuff, anyone run this without BPC?

Got a partial supraspinatus tear thats been dragging on for like 5 months now, did the usual PT, rest, eccentrics, the boring stuff and im maybe at 70%. Considering adding TB-500 for the systemic angle since BPC alone didnt really move the needle for me last round on a different tendon issue.
Thinking TB-500 2x/week for the loading phase plus GHK-Cu a couple times a week for collagen signaling. Ive used GHK-Cu topically with decent skin results but never subq for a joint thing. Curious if the actin upregulation from TB plus the collagen synthesis push from GHK-Cu is actually complementary or if im just throwing two things at it and hoping.
Also kinda wondering if TB-500 alone is enough without BPC in the mix, or if the local angiogenesis piece from BPC is doing more than people give it credit for. Anyone here run TB solo on a stubborn shoulder and have it actually close the gap?

- weekendnate: Honestly the actin upregulation angle is what made me try TB solo on a nagging elbow tendonopathy last winter. Did 2x/week for about 6 weeks, no BPC, and I think it helped but I'm not gonna pretend I can isolate it from the eccentrics I was actually being consistent with that time around. The shoulder is a different beast though. Rotator cuffs have notoriously poor blood supply, which is probably why BPC's local angiogenesis piece keeps getting hyped, since it actually targets that problem. Ski
- leah_vo2max: Yeah the cut off was rough but I think you were asking about my BPC round, right? It was a different tendon, ankle this time, ran standard 500mcg 2x/week for 8 weeks and it honestly felt like nothing. Maybe a little less morning stiffness but nothing Id write home about. Your point about blood supply is kinda making me reconsider the solo approach though, like if the problem with a rotator cuff is the tissue just not getting perfused then angiogenesis might be doing the heavy lifting and Id be
- tiredmira: Yeah the blood supply point is exactly what kept me on BPC for my achilles, that tendon barely gets anything. For the shoulder i feel like local blood flow matters just as much, maybe more. Tbh 6 weeks of 2x/week TB plus eccentrics sounds pretty close to what worked for me on a stubborn elbow too, so probably not all placebo on your end 😅
- leah_vo2max: The elbow thing is useful to know, mine is a similar type of slow-twitch overuse situation yeah. Did you finish the 6 weeks and then reassess or were you kind of layering stuff in? I keep going back and forth on whether to give TB solo a clean 8 week run before stacking anything else in, or just go straight to the combo since im already 5 months in and kinda over it. The blood supply thing tracks for the shoulder too, supraspinatus has that weird watershed zone that just does not get perfusion.
