BBC is reporting two deaths in Northern Ireland potentially linked to weight loss jabs, sitting inside a bigger pile of over 500 suspected adverse drug reactions sent to the regulator.
To be fair, "potentially linked" does a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence, and the MHRA yellow card system captures any report, not confirmed causality. Still, this is the conversation we keep avoiding. Most people I know on these started them without a proper medication review, no baseline bloods, no plan for what happens when they stop.
The bit that bothers me most is nobody talks about what the exit strategy looks like. You stop the jab, the appetite comes back with interest, and now you've lost lean mass you didn't track because nobody measured it.
Anyone here actually kept the weight off a year after stopping, or is everyone just planning to stay on it forever and hoping the long term data turns out grand?
