My 8‑week trial of CagriSema: appetite dip, nausea spikes, and a weird HRV bump

I started the fixed‑ratio CagriSema combo about six weeks ago after reading a few threads on dual‑pathway GLP‑1/amylin mixes. My protocol was the starter pack: 2.4 mg semaglutide + 2.4 mg cagrilintide once a week, injected on Mondays. I kept my usual diet (about 1800 kcal) and logged everything in my spreadsheet – weight, waist, fasting glucose, daily steps, and nightly HRV from my Oura.
First week I felt a mild nausea that peaked around day 3 and cleared by day 5. Appetite was noticeably lower – I was eating roughly 300 kcal less without feeling “starved”. Weight dropped 3.2 lb by the end of week two, mostly water. My HRV rose about 7 ms compared to baseline, which I think might be linked to the reduced post‑prandial insulin spikes.
By week five the nausea returned on injection days, but only for a few hours. I’m still seeing a steady 0.8 lb per week loss, and my waist is down 1.5 inches. No injection site irritation so far. Anyone else see the HRV bump or have tips for taming the repeat nausea?
