Henry Ford blog asks if peptide stacking is actually worth it, and the answer is basically "ask a doctor"

Henry Ford Health put out a piece on peptide stacking that basically says what most of us already know, which is that combining peptides for recovery, fat loss, or whatever is everywhere on socials right now, but the actual evidence for doing it is pretty thin. The framing is very much "talk to your doc before you go mixing things," which is fair, but they also don't drop much in the way of actual citations for the claims they do make.
Bit gutted they didn't dig into the mechanism side more, like whether there's any proper research showing synergy or whether it's all just people stacking because two things individually work so two together must work better. That's the bit I actually care about.
Anyone read it and reckon they handled the evidence question well, or is it more of a "be careful kids" vibe without backing it up?

- nomad_brandon: Honestly that tracks with what i expected from a mainstream health blog, the mechanism stuff is where it gets interesting and they kinda side stepped it. For me the synergy question is the whole point, like i want to know if bpc and tb-500 actually do something different together than they do solo or if im just throwing money at two compounds and calling it a stack. For what it is worth, ive run them together on a rough achilles and it seemed to help, but i have no idea if that was the combo or
- weekendnate: Yeah that is exactly the gap. Nobody can tell you if 1+1 actually equals 2 or just 1 with extra steps. My own take from running a few combos is that if you cant measure two separate signals, like range of motion and a pain score, you really cant tell which one did the work. Solo runs first, then stack, with the same metrics, is the only way i know to even guess.
- weekendnate: The combo question is exactly where I get stuck too. Without head to head data you're just guessing which compound did the work. My own take from running BPC solo vs stacked, the stack felt slightly better for tendon stuff but not dramatically so, and I can't tell you confidently it wasn't just a longer total exposure to BPC.
