Compounded semaglutide was supposed to fade out when the shortage ended. It didnt.

Business Insider has a piece on how copycat semaglutide is still everywhere even though the FDA pulled it off the shortage list. Telehealth outfits kept writing scripts, compounders kept shipping, and nobody really flinched.
What gets me is the regulatory theater of it all. The law says they have to stop once the shortage resolves, but enforcement looks like a shrug and a follow up next quarter. Meanwhile people are pinning their hopes on vials that may or may not be what the label says. I keep my CGM data and my HRV trend, and even with legit product theres variance. With grey market stuff its basically a coin flip on whats actually in the syringe.
Is anyone here still using a compounded GLP-1, and if so what made you stick with it over the brand? Im honestly curious whether the price gap is doing all the heavy lifting or if its something else.
