Oral BPC‑157 + Boswellia for my stubborn rotator cuff flare‑up

I’ve been dealing with a nagging rotator cuff tendinitis for the past 3 months – occasional sharp pain when I lift my arm overhead and a lot of stiffness after my evening walks. A couple of weeks ago I started an oral BPC‑157 regimen (500 mcg twice daily) after reading about its gut and tendon benefits. I also added a standardized Boswellia extract (150 mg AKBA once in the morning and again at night) to keep the inflammation in check without relying on NSAIDs.

So far, the pain seems a bit less intense on the worst days and I’m able to do my rehab band work with a little more range. I did notice a mild queasy feeling the first two days of BPC‑157, but it settled after I took it with food. The Boswellia gave me a tiny stomach rumble once a day, nothing major.

I’m curious if anyone else has tried this combo for a similar shoulder issue and what timing they found best around PT sessions. Any tips on adjusting the doses or adding something else for extra joint support would be welcome 👀.

The Boswellia didn’t upset my stomach at all, just a mild gut warmth sometimes. Around my physio sessions I take the BPC‑157 about an hour before and the Boswellia with breakfast; that timing seemed to give me a bit more comfort during the band work. I have

I’ll try your “with a small meal” trick and maybe shift the Boswellia to breakfast instead of both doses – the gut warmth you mentioned sounds like a cue. If the queasiness comes back, I’ll drop to 400 mcg total like you suggested.
