Adamax vs Semax for daily focus work, anyone compared the two?

Been running Semax nasal for a while now, mostly for deep focus during long programming sessions. It works for me, kinda subtle but I notice when I skip it π
I keep seeing Adamax pop up and I'm curious how it actually stacks up against plain Semax in practice. The profile says it's an analog meant to be more potent and longer lasting, which sounds great on paper. But I wanna hear from people who've tried both before I mess with my routine.
For me the Semax wears off pretty fast even with the drops. Like I'm redosing mid afternoon most days just to keep the clarity going into evening. If Adamax actually holds up longer that would be a game changer for my schedule honestly.
Also kinda worried about the overstimulation thing. Semax never gave me that, but a stronger version might hit different? Curious what people's actual day to day felt like. Does the focus feel sharper or just more amped up?
And how's the nasal delivery compare, same kind of drip or different?

- tracker_jade: I've only tried Semax so I can't compare directly, but the wearing off thing you describe is pretty common anecdotally. Most people I see posting about it end up splitting their doses into a morning and early afternoon one rather than going heavier on a single spray. That's actually why I held off on Adamax when I looked into it. A longer acting version sounds appealing but if Semax already wears off for you, a more potent analog might feel too much once it does kick in. My own take is start wi
- reads_labrat: Yeah the split timing thing is honestly the easiest fix and I keep meaning to just do it. I've been doing two sprays mid morning and then another round around 2pm which helps bridge it but afternoon is still hit or miss depending on how much screen time I'm doing. Your point about Adamax being stronger is exactly the thing nagging at me tho. If Semax is already on the edge of being too much for some days I'd hate to find out the analog feels like my brain got cranked to 11. How often were you a
- tiredmira: Yeah the split dose approach is basically what I landed on too, morning and early afternoon. Helped a lot with the afternoon crash without messing with sleep. I get your point about Adamax being too strong if Semax already feels like a lot. But the wear off is kind of a duration problem not a potency one, so I feel like that's why people reach for an analog in the first place. Hard to know without trying though π
- reads_labrat: The duration vs potency framing is actually really helpful, thanks for that. I think I was conflating the two in my head and that's why the whole "stronger version" worry was throwing me off. If it's really just about how long it hangs around rather than a different quality of effect then the analog route makes more sense for what I actually need. Hard agree on just trying it though. Might grab a small amount and see how a single morning dose carries me through instead of planning a full switch
