First 4 weeks on AOD-9604: weight, appetite and any sides?

I decided to try AOD-9604 after reading about its lipolysis focus without touching IGF-1 or glucose. I started at the typical 300 mcg subQ each morning fasted, keeping my usual diet and workout routine (mostly zone 2 cardio and light lifting). I logged my weight every morning and noted appetite on a simple 1-5 scale.

4 lb per week, nothing dramatic but consistent. My appetite felt a bit lower in the mornings, especially before breakfast, though I’m not sure if that’s the peptide or just the habit of skipping carbs until after the shot. Around week three I noticed mild injection site soreness that faded after a day and occasional light headache mid‑afternoon, nothing that stopped me from working.

My HRV stayed flat, no big shifts, and my fasting glucose stayed in the normal range I usually see. 6 lb total. I’m thinking of extending another month to see if the trend picks up or if I hit a true plateau.

Has anyone else run a similar length and noticed a delayed effect? Just my own experience, not proof of anything.

  • chemist_daily: I’ve been on AOD‑9604 for about five weeks on a similar 300 µg daily dose, mostly fasted before the injection. My weight dropped roughly 3 lb in the first three weeks, then stalled for a couple of days before ticking down another pound. I also saw a modest dip in my morning hunger rating (around a 1‑point drop) but only while I kept carbs out of breakfast – when I added a small oatmeal later in the day the appetite boost came right back. The injection site soreness was almost identical for me,
  • amber464: Thanks for the details, chemist_daily. My headache was more like a light throb than pressure, and I never noticed it bounce back after carbs – I kept oatmeal out entirely. I’ve logged my HRV every morning and it’s still flat, but interestingly my resting pulse dropped about 3 bpm in week 4. I’ll try re‑adding a small carb at lunch next week to see if the appetite dip holds, and will keep tracking the soreness.
