Starting with CJC/Ipa, confused about no-DAC vs DAC for a beginner

Hi all, complete newbie here, been reading threads for weeks and finally ready to ask my dumb questions ๐Ÿ˜…

So I want to dip my toes in with a GH peptide, mainly for sleep and recovery because my training has been trash and I wake up feeling like I got hit by a bus. From what I gather, CJC-1295 without DAC is the typical beginner pick since it gives you a pulse rather than sustained levels, which apparently matters for avoiding desensitisation.

But then I see people talking about CJC with DAC at like once a week, and the Superman Stack page mentions CJC no-DAC nightly paired with Ipamorelin. Is the DAC version actually a beginner trap because of the continuous GHRH signalling, or am I overthinking it?

Also, do most people actually start with Ipamorelin added from day one, or is it smarter to run CJC alone for a couple of weeks first so you know what each thing is doing? I want to keep variables tight before I throw three things at myself.

Reconstitution maths is making my head spin but I think I have it. Bac water, 100mcg dose, standard vials. Steady lah, I will get there. Any pointers from people who started simple first would be appreciated, and please point me to actual studies if you have them, I learn better from data than vibes.

  • emma_vo2max: For a first run, keeping CJC no-DAC and Ipamorelin together is pretty standard and most people start them on the same night, since they work on different receptors and the combo seems to give a cleaner pulse than either alone for sleep and recovery. Running CJC by itself for a couple weeks first is fine too if you want cleaner data on your own response, just know the sleep effect might be weaker without the Ipa. On the DAC question, I would not start there. The sustained GHRH exposure is more o
  • kayla_s: Yeah, the no-DAC plus Ipa combo is what I'd stick with too, just start low and pay attention to how you actually feel, sleep and recovery stuff is pretty subjective so a little journal helps. DAC is one of those things that sounds easier on paper but the whole sustained exposure thing kinda worried me even back when I was reading about it.
  • restless_squats: Thanks for weighing in, that lines up with what I was leaning towards honestly. The sustained signalling thing is what put me off DAC too, like I'd rather not commit to something my body can't "turn off" if it doesn't agree with me ๐Ÿ˜ด Quick one though, when you say start low for the CJC/Ipa combo, roughly what kind of range were you working with? I'm trying to set a baseline so I'm not guessing on dosing day.
  • restless_squats: Thanks, that actually lines up with what I was leaning towards so steady to hear it from someone who's run it. Ipa from day one it is then, since sleep is half the reason I'm doing this anyway. On the DAC point, yeah that's kind of where my gut was going, the sustained signalling just felt off for someone who doesn't even know how they respond yet. Curious though, when you say the sleep effect is weaker without Ipa, is that something you noticed yourself or more from reading? Trying to figure o
