FGL solo vs paired with something, what changes when you add a second piece?

I keep coming back to FGL because it sits in a quieter spot than most things in this category, for me anyway.

I ran it on its own first, mostly mornings, just to get a baseline feel. Sleep felt a bit deeper within the first week or two, and I noticed I was reaching for words faster in coaching sessions. Nothing flashy. More like a steady thing underneath.

So now I'm curious what people have noticed when they layer something onto it. I am not trying to recreate a heavy stack. Just wondering if FGL plays nice with a small Semax base, or if Adamax makes more sense if focus is the goal.

For those who tried FGL solo and then added a second piece, did the second one actually do something, or did it just feel like noise on top of FGL? Did anything feel like it overstacked? 😎

Fwiw I would rather hear what people actually felt than theory.

  • practicaldita: I've run FGL solo for a few weeks and then tried adding Semax on top, mostly mornings, both intranasal. Solo FGL was pretty subtle for me, kind of a calmer background thing. When I added Semax it felt like they actually pointed in different directions, so the focus bump was noticeable on top of the FGL baseline. Not overstacked for me, but I kept the dose low and only used Semax on heavier workdays. Adamax I can't speak to, haven't tried it. Worth noting the focus thing was subjective, could
  • frugalnoor: I kept it pretty low to start, around 50-100mcg range, just to get a feel without overdoing it. Your point about them pointing different directions tracks with what I noticed. FGL felt like calm underneath and Semax gave me that sharper top end on busy days. Only used Semax on coaching heavy weeks too, didnt want it every day. Couldve been placebo on my end honestly, hard to say with no real objective marker 🧪
