Where do i actually start with reading these peptide profiles

Ok so i just found this forum and basically i'm trying to figure out how to read a peptide profile properly... Like i see things like half-life and mechanism and i'm not always sure what matters most for a beginner. Is it the half-life i should look at first?

Or the typical dose? How do you even tell what's safe to read about vs what's just marketing type stuff. Also some of these profiles say "research only" and "not established for humans" which honestly makes me more confused...

Like should i just stay away from those entirely or is it normal to read about them anyway to learn? I'm not planning to touch anything yet, just trying to understand the landscape so i don't feel lost when people mention things in threads. Coming from a biology background but peptides are kinda their own world lah.
