Trying NA Semax amidate for focus – any tips on dosing timing?

I’ve been experimenting with NA Semax amidate intranasally for about a week now, taking roughly 400 mcg split into two doses morning and early afternoon. Fwiw, I noticed a clearer headspace during work sessions and felt less prone to drifting off, but I also had trouble falling asleep on the nights I took the second dose after 3 pm. I’m curious if others have found a sweet spot for timing that avoids the insomnia while keeping the focus boost.

I’ve also started adding a low dose of NA Selank amidate in the evening (around 200 mcg) to see if it smooths out the overstimulation, though it’s still early to tell if that helps or just adds mild drowsiness. Has anyone stacked these two or tried adjusting the Semax dose lower later in the day? Any personal logs or tweaks you’ve found useful would be great to hear.

  • amber464: I ran a similar 2‑dose schedule for about a month. The 400 µg morning works fine for me, but the afternoon hit started pushing my sleep latency past an hour if I took it after 2 pm. I cut the second dose to 200 µg and moved it to 12:30 pm, then added a 150 µg Selank at 9 pm. Sleep got back to normal and the “clear headspace” stayed through the afternoon. I also logged HRV – it dipped a bit on the high‑dose days, so the lower afternoon split seemed to keep it steadier. Might be worth trying a sm
