Life Biosciences just dosed a human with a cellular reprogramming shot

Life Biosciences announced they injected their first patient with a cellular reprogramming therapy aimed at reversing age-related decline, backed by Bezos and Altman money. Cellular reprogramming as a concept has been wild to me since the Yamanaka factor days, and actually putting it in a person is a different ballgame entirely.

I'm skeptical though. The jump from mice to humans is massive, and partial reprogramming can cause teratomas if the cells go too far back. Safety has to be the whole story here, not just whether biomarkers move in a favorable direction. I want to see real tissue data, not press releases.

Anyone else following this one? Curious how they're measuring "reversal" and what endpoints they actually care about 🥗
