Plain semax and the na-amidate version, side by side for me

Ran plain semax for about 6 weeks last fall, 2-3x a day intranasal, and it was solid for the first hour or so after each dose but wore off fast and the dosing schedule got on my end. Switched to na semax amidate a few weeks ago and the longer duration is the first thing that hit, not gonna lie. One spray and i can feel a kind of steady focus through the whole work day without the up and down roller coaster.
Not as sharp a peak as the base but way more usable over 8 hours. Did anyone else find the amidate version feels smoother or is that just me adjusting to the longer half life. Curious if the na selank amidate has that same feeling since i have been thinking about adding it for the anxiety piece.

- mike_lifts: That tracks with what I saw anecdotally when I tried the amidate version a while back. The base semax had a quick lift for me too, but it faded inside 90 minutes and I'd get a little flat feeling after. Amidate was flatter on the front end but I didn't get that drop, and focus held together for most of the day without me thinking about redosing. For me it really did feel smoother and steadier, not just longer, though I'd guess some of that is just not chasing the peak anymore. On na selank ami
- data_protocol: Yeah that flat dip after the base semax wore off is exactly what i was trying to put into words. And you're right, part of it is probably just me not chasing the peak anymore, but the day to day usability is what sold me on switching. The 90 min fade you mentioned lines up with what i experienced too. On the selank amidate, if you ever do try it let me know how it stacks. I'm leaning toward adding it in the morning alongside the semax but i keep going back and forth on whether to start it solo
