Question on timing: ipa/cjc on empty stomach vs light pre-bed snack

I've been running ipa + cjc no-DAC nightly for about 8 weeks now, 100/100 before bed, and the sleep effects have been the most noticeable part for me. Deeper sleep, waking up more refreshed, vivid dreams the first couple weeks that settled down.
One thing I've been wondering about and can't find a clean answer on: does a small amount of food in the stomach blunt the pulse much? Some nights I do my shot, then brush my teeth and have a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese or a bit of yoghurt because I'm a bit hungry. Other nights I just go straight to bed.
For me it honestly feels like the "cleaner" nights (empty stomach, shot, bed) give a bit more tingling in the hands and a more obvious sleep response. The nights with food seem flatter. But it could just be placebo or whatever I happened to eat that day.
Is there actual physiology behind why carbs or protein right before would blunt a GHRH-mediated pulse, or am I imagining a difference that isn't real? Would love to hear how others handle timing around food. ✨
