Saw this one floating around, a doctor saying the worst trend in men's health right now is trying to do longevity medicine without a physician, and pinning a lot of it on biohacking. Fair enough, honestly. If you're stacking compounds and you have never had bloodwork, you're flying blind, and that's just reckless no matter how smart you think you are.
But the piece also lumps everyone together. Some of us actually do the homework, get regular panels, and use a doc where it makes sense. Biohacking isn't the problem, skipping the boring safety stuff is. The doctor's frustration is real, but framing it as "men being naughty with supplements" is a lazy angle and it pushes away the people doing it properly.
For those of you running a stack, how often are you actually getting bloods done, and is a doc involved at all or are you fully on your own?
