BPC-157 for peroneal tendon gristle, anyone actually get back to running pain free?

Been dealing with a cranky peroneal tendon for like 4 months now. Started as a dull ache on the lateral side of my right foot after a long trail run and i kept pushing through it like an idiot. Eventually had to shut down running for 6 weeks and just rode the bike. Zero drop shoes, calf raises, all the standard PT stuff. It improved but the moment i go over like 30 miles a week the gristle feeling comes right back. Not a sharp pain, more like the tendon is pissed at me and wont fully settle.

Ngl im getting impatient. Ive got a 50k in like 10 weeks and im not where i need to be mileage wise. Thinking about a BPC-157 run alongside the rehab work i already do. Interested in timing it around the loading sessions, like subq on training days only vs daily. Also curious if anyone stacked it with TB-500 for tendon stuff specifically or if thats overkill. I know the human evidence is thin but ive read enough anecdotal stuff to want to try it while i keep doing the boring corrective work.

How did you dose it relative to your rehab sessions, and did the tendon actually hold up under load or did you relapse when you stopped?

  • omar653: Been there with the peroneal thing, same cranky tendon after pushing trail mileage too fast. For me BPC seemed to take the edge off in like 3 weeks subq daily, but i kept the rehab boring stuff going the whole time, calf raises, single leg balance, the works. Hard to say if it was the peptide or just finally letting it calm down, could just be placebo on my end. I never tried timing it only around hard days, just ran it daily for 6 weeks then tapered off. Did not stack with TB-500 so cant speak
  • grinder265: Yeah the 3 week mark is reassuring, i was worried itd take longer to notice anything. Good to hear you kept the PT going too, i dont wanna slack on that just because im adding something else. Curious what dose you ran. I was thinking 250-500mcg daily based on what ive seen floating around but i know thats not exactly standardized. Did you notice any site reaction or anything with daily subq?
  • optimizer_grant: Yeah that tracks with what i noticed too. I ran it daily for about 5 weeks and the gristle feeling dropped off, but i also dropped my weekly miles way down the first 3 weeks and did slow eccentric calf raises every morning. Hard to separate the two honestly. One thing i tracked was HRV and sleep didnt really move, so it wasnt some systemic feel good thing for me at least. Did you notice anything like that or was it strictly a local effect in your case.
  • grinder265: Good call on actually cutting miles, i prob havent been honest with myself about that yet. Stacking it with TB-500 was kinda where my head was going too just wasnt sure if thats redundant for tendon work. How much did you dose and did you load subq near the foot or just belly fat.
