Bacteriostatic water stinging – anyone else feel that?

I’ve been using bacteriostatic water to reconstitute a few peptides lately and every time I inject I get a quick sting that lasts a few seconds. It’s not painful but it’s noticeable enough that I wonder if it’s the benzyl alcohol or just my skin being sensitive. I’ve tried letting the solution sit a minute after drawing it up, but the sting still shows up.
Has anyone else felt this with bacteriostatic water? Did switching to plain sterile water or diluting the bacteriostatic water help? I’m curious if the sting means I’m doing something wrong with the reconstitution or if it’s just a normal reaction some people get. Any tips to reduce the irritation would be appreciated.
