How do I read a simple peptide dosing protocol for a first timer?

Hey mate, I just got my first vial of something like BPC-157 (5mg powder) and I’m staring at a protocol online that says “250mcg subQ every day”. I’m totally lost on how to turn that into something I can actually measure with an insulin syringe. For me the maths feels tricky – if I reconstitute with 1ml of bacteriostatic water does that give me 5mg/ml?

05ml which is 5 units on a 100unit syringe? Ngl I’m second guessing myself because I don’t want to mess up the dose or hit a vein by accident. Anyone else remember their first time trying to read a protocol like this?

What’s the easiest way to double check the volume before you inject? Also, should I be pinching the skin or going straight in? Any tips on keeping things clean and simple would be really appreciated.
