Saw this LinkedIn write-up from Dr. Lin about 12 peptides coming back to legal compounding in the US, including Semax and Selank. It mentions both are approved pharmaceuticals in Russia and Ukraine with established clinical use for cognitive enhancement, neuroprotection, and anxiety. That part is accurate, they have real clinical history there.

Honestly though, the article is pretty thin on details. It lists the peptides and gives a one-liner each but does not get into the messy stuff like sourcing quality, stability, or how different the compounded versions might be from the Russian pharmaceutical originals. For me, Selank felt like a very subtle calm without the grogginess you get from typical anti-anxiety stuff, but I keep wondering if compounded access will actually mean better quality or just more availability with the same questions about purity.

Has anyone here tried both the Russian pharmaceutical Semax and a compounded version? Curious if you noticed any difference in effect or if it all felt the same. 🧠
