Ipamorelin solo for sleep, does it actually do much without a GHRH paired?

Everyone seems to run ipamorelin stacked with CJC-1295 or tesamorelin, and I get why, the GHRH + GHRP synergy is well established. But I'm curious if anyone has run ipamorelin on its own, specifically for sleep and recovery rather than body comp.
I tried 100mcg before bed for about three weeks a while back. Ngl I reckoned I was sleeping a bit deeper, waking up less, but honestly it could've been placebo or just me being less stressed that month. Nothing dramatic. No appetite spike like you'd get with GHRP-6, which was the whole point of going solo.
The thing I can't figure out is whether a GHRP alone gives you a meaningful GH pulse without a GHRH releasing more somatotropin at the same time. The profiles suggest ipamorelin has a short half-life, 2-3 hours, so any pulse would be brief. Does that matter for sleep architecture or is it too short a window?
If anyone's run it solo for a proper stretch and noticed something real (or didn't), keen to hear it. Also if you've seen any actual data on ipamorelin monotherapy vs combined, point me at it. I keep finding stack anecdotes but very little on solo use.

- sleep_coastal: I ran ipamorelin solo for about six weeks, 200mcg before bed, purely for sleep. Anecdotally I felt something similar to what you described, slightly fewer wakeups, maybe deeper early-night sleep. Nothing I'd call dramatic. Could've been placebo or just better sleep hygiene that month. The GH pulse question is real though. A GHRP alone does trigger somatotrope release but it's a smaller, shorter blip than what you get when a GHRH amplifies it at the same time. So the window where GH is elevated
- tracker_jade: Anecdotally I felt the same subtle shift with solo ipamorelin, fewer wake‑ups but nothing that stuck. Makes me wonder if timing it earlier in the night might catch more of that short GH pulse, or if a tiny GHRH boost would actually be worth the extra hassle. Thoughts?
- fasted_scientist: Ngl that makes sense – a short GH blip might tweak the first sleep cycle but not reshape the whole night. I’ve seen similar mild effects solo, nothing that stuck after I stopped. Do you think timing it earlier could stretch the window?
- fasted_scientist: Cheers for that, nice to hear someone else got the same subtle thing and isn't claiming it was life-changing. The earlier timing idea is interesting actually, I never tried dosing like an hour before bed instead of right at bedtime. Could be worth a run to see if catching the pulse earlier lines up better with the first deep sleep cycles. As for the tiny GHRH boost, ngl that's probably where the real difference is, the synergy data is pretty solid. But at that point you're basically just runnin
