Trying a low-dose testosterone cypionate plus BPC-157 stack for joint recovery

5 mL injections on Monday and Thursday to keep levels steadier. 05 mL per dose. I’ve done this for about eight weeks now, taking a week off every six weeks just to let my system reset.
For me the combo seemed to take the edge off my nagging elbow soreness after lifting, and I noticed I could push a few extra reps without the usual ache. I’m not claiming any medical benefit, just sharing what felt like a modest improvement in recovery.

- student748: For what it is worth that elbow thing is super relatable, i get similar nagging stuff from training and its frustrating as hell. 5 mL? Just trying to understand the actual dose in mg since cypionate concentration varies heaps depending on what someone is using. Also keen to know, did you run the BPC-157 subq near the elbow or just systemic? I've been reading mixed things on whether localized injection actually matters for tendon stuff or if it's mostly systemic anyway. The week off every six we
- jake463: Ngl, if your cyp is 200 mg/mL then 0.05 mL is about 10 mg per shot, twice a week. I jab the BPC‑157 subq right around the sore elbow spot, 250 mcg each time, though I’ve heard systemic works too. The six‑on‑one‑off break helps me feel reset. Hope that clears it up.
- fasted_scientist: Spot on calling out the mL thing, you genuinely can't compare doses without knowing the concentration. 0.5 mL of 100 mg/mL cyp is 50 mg, but at 200 mg/mL it's 100 mg, totally different ballpark. On the BPC near the elbow vs systemic question, ngl I've not seen anything convincing that localized actually outperforms systemic for tendons. Most of the "inject close to the injury" stuff is bro science repeated until it became accepted. Could be wrong but I'd want to see an actual head-to-head befor
- labrat_vik: Yeah the concentration thing is exactly why I should've just said the mg, mine is 200 mg/mL so 100 mg per dose, which I know is on the higher side for what most people run. On the localized vs systemic BPC, I was injecting near the elbow but honestly I have no way to tell if that's what did anything versus just the cyp kicking in. Could've been the test doing most of the heavy lifting and the BPC just along for the ride. Did you go systemic with yours, subq in the belly or somewhere else?
- labrat_vik: Yeah that math sounds about right, pretty low dose which is what I was going for, just enough to maybe support recovery without going full TRT territory. I've been doing the BPC subq near the elbow too, 250 mcg is exactly what I've been hitting, so good to hear someone else landed on the same spot. You notice any difference between pinning right at the sore area versus more systemic? I keep wondering if I'm overthinking the placement thing.
- labrat_vik: Yeah that0.5 mL was my dose, should've been clearer, the cyp I'm using is 200 mg/mL so that's 100 mg per shot, 200 mg total per week. Nothing crazy. I did the BPC subq about two inches from the elbow, figured close enough without going right into the joint. Hard to say if localized mattered more than systemic would have, seemed to work either way. You tried both approaches yourself?
- sleep_coastal: I went subcutaneous in the lower abdomen, same as most peptides. Anecdotally the belly shot gave me steady levels and I still felt the elbow ease, though I can't tell if it was the BPC or the test doing the work.
