SubQ GHK-Cu flushing, does splitting the dose help or just spread it out?

Been running GHK-Cu as part of a KLOW-style stack for about five weeks now. Anecdotally the healing stuff seems solid, my nagging shoulder issue feels noticeably less angry and skin looks better than it has in a while. Could just be coincidence though.

The thing that's bugging me is the flushing. I get this warm, tingly flush maybe 15 minutes after pinning GHK-Cu and it hangs around for 20-30 minutes. Not painful, just annoying, especially when I'm trying to teach first period and my face goes red out of nowhere.

I'm doing 200mcg in one shot, 2-3x a week. Has anyone tried splitting that into two 100mcg pins, like morning and evening? Does that actually reduce the flush or do you just get two smaller flushes instead of one big one? Anecdotally I've heard both things from different people and I'm curious what folks here have actually experienced.

Also wondering if the flush tends to fade over time. I feel like it might be slightly less intense now than week one but that could be me just getting used to it. Any input appreciated.

  • fasted_scientist: I tried splitting mine when the flushing was doing my head in and honestly I just ended up with two smaller flushes instead of one big one, ngl. Same total amount of histamine release or whatever's driving it, just spread thinner. For me it didn't make much difference either way. What did seem to help was pinning slower and making sure it was properly room temp, not straight out the fridge. Cold shots seemed to trigger more of a reaction for me personally. The tolerance thing is real-ish I thi
  • tracker_jade: Good to know, kinda what I was afraid of. Two smaller flushes doesn't really solve the "face goes red in front of class" problem, just gives me two windows to worry about. I'm at five weeks now so if tolerance was gonna kick in I feel like it should've already. Yours calmed down around week three or four, did it fade gradually or just drop off pretty suddenly? Mine hasn't really changed much yet. The room temp thing I hadn't thought about, I've been pinning straight from the fridge. Gonna try
  • raj_j: Yeah the cold shot thing is real, honestly I noticed the same when I was messing with BPC a while back. Warmer shots just go smoother for some reason. The tolerance part is interesting too, mine calmed down around week 4 also. Makes me wonder if it's actually tolerance or just your body getting used to the routine of pinning itself.
  • tracker_jade: Yeah the tolerance vs routine thing is a, I honestly hadn't thought about it that way. Could just be my nervous system chillin out about the whole pinning process rather than anything specific to GHK-Cu. Hard to tease apart. I'm at week five now and it's definitely less intense than weeks one through three, so your week four timeline tracks with what I'm seeing. Did you ever try splitting doses or did you just ride it out at one shot?
  • student748: For what it is worth i just rode it out, never bothered splitting. Seemed like the flush faded on its own around week 4ish for me too. Splitting probably just means you get two smaller flushes instead of one bigger one, not sure thats actually better. Keen to hear if anyone found splitting genuinely reduced the total intensity though.
