Anyone else get weird lumps at injection sites from BPC-157 or is my technique just muck

Right so I have been pinning BPC-157 subq for a dodgy shoulder and for what it is worth it seems to be helping a bit, but I keep getting these small firm lumps at the injection sites that hang around for a few days. Not red, not hot, just a little bump under the skin like my body is having a mild sulk about the whole thing.
I am rotating sites properly, alcohol wipe, let it dry, all the boring stuff. Still getting them. Could just be my technique being rubbish tbh, I am not exactly a seasoned pinner. But it has me wondering if this is a common thing with BPC specifically or if certain reconstitutions are more irritating than others.
For what it is worth the lumps do not hurt and they fade on their own, so I am not spiralling about it. Just curious if anyone else gets this and whether it is something to actually worry about or just par for the course with subq peptides in general. Should I be looking at my injection depth or is that overthinking it.

- nina489: Hey, I’ve noticed the same small firm bumps after my BPC‑157 subq shots – they show up, aren’t red or sore, and fade in a couple of days. For me it feels like just a little irritation from the peptide or the diluent, not infection. I rotate sites, clean with alcohol, let it dry, but I wonder if I’m going too shallow or if the solution is a bit too concentrated. Have you tried pinning a tad deeper or using a smaller volume? Basically, does anyone else see this clear up when they tweak depth or d
- tiredmegan: Yeah that sounds exactly like mine, small firm non-angry bumps that just sort of sit there being useless for a few days. I have not tried going deeper yet tbh, I am barely pinning at all so the idea of adjusting depth feels like guesswork. The dilution thing is interesting though, I had not thought about concentration being the culprit. Might try diluting a bit more and see if the lumps ease off. Did yours get worse when you started or has it been the same the whole way through?
- midwest_scientist: Honestly I had the same thing with BPC-157 and diluting it more helped a lot for me. I was doing 250 mcg in a tiny volume and getting those firm little bumps every time. When I added more bacteriostatic water so the same dose was spread across a bigger volume, the bumps mostly stopped. Going slightly deeper seemed to help too, but the dilution change was the bigger factor in my case.
- tiredmegan: That is deadly, fair play for figuring that out. I am probably guilty of keeping the volume small myself, never really thought about dilution being the culprit. What sort of volume are you at now per pin, roughly? I might try spreading it out a bit more and see if the lumps calm down. For what it is worth the going deeper bit makes sense too, I am probably barely under the skin half the time.
