Oxytocin nasal spray gave me paradoxical anxiety, anyone else get this?

Anecdotally I tried intranasal oxytocin a few times at around 24 IU, expecting the warm fuzzy bonding vibe people describe. Instead I got this weird jittery anxious feeling within maybe 10 minutes. Heart rate ticking up, kind of on edge, almost like too much caffeine but without the focus. Lasted maybe 20-30 minutes then faded. Thought it was a fluke so I tried it again a couple days later. Same thing. I saw the paradoxical anxiety listed as a side effect on the /peptides/oxytocin page but I kinda figured that was rare or maybe dose-dependent. For me it seemed pretty consistent.
I'm curious if anyone else hit this. Seems like the kind of thing where individual neurochemistry matters a lot. I wonder if lower dosing, like 10-12 IU, would avoid it or if it's just how my system responds to a sudden oxytocin spike. The anxiolytic effect some people report is apparently not universal. Also wondering if timing matters, like whether using it in a already-stressed state makes it worse versus when you're already calm. Anybody played with dose ranges and noticed a threshold where it flips from pleasant to uncomfortable?
