TB4-Frag vs full TB-500, is the fragment approach actually better?

I've been reading up on TB4-Frag (/peptides/tb4-fragment) and the idea of using just the actin-binding domain instead of the full peptide. The claim is better tissue penetration because it's smaller. Makes sense on paper, imo. Smaller molecule, better diffusion, same core mechanism.
But I keep wondering if we're losing something by cutting it down. Full TB-4 has other active sequences beyond actin-sequestering. The fragment retains the key motif but drops the rest. Is the rest just filler or does it matter for the overall healing response?
I've used full TB-500 for shoulder rehab and it seemed to help. Hard to say how much was the peptide vs just time and PT work though. The fragment version sounds promising for targeted repair but I haven't seen much real-world feedback yet.
